Failed cashback

I wondered if anyone's had trouble getting the Cashback promised on car insurance?
I took out a Kwik fit policy in July -09 through Cashback Kings and the only thing I get so far are promises from Cashback Kings that "...the claim is being investigated."
The policy was only competitive when I took the promise of £42.50 cashback into account but 7 months later and no cashback I feel like I've been tricked.
Anyone out there with similar experiance or tips on how to get things moving?

    Hi Christer

I took Car insurance with Kwikfit in July 09 using quidco.com and it has been declined as well. I asked quidco.com to why and then after month or so was declined and case closed. oh well...

I've enver used cashback kings but do use quidco quite a bit. The principle is still the same.

Basically dont rely on getting the cashback, instead treat it as a bonus so instead of going with the more expensive quote with more cashback go with your best quote even if there is significanty less cashack available.
  • Thanks for the feedback, guess I've learned a lesson. Will keep asking the question to cashback kings but I've had other bad experiences with Kwit fit so not going back there anymore...
