Had an email with a 20% off sale code until the weekend. You could order the larger size and swap it for another in store when they have more in stock maybe?

Good luck with complaining. A few years ago I was bought a faulty bag as a gift - debenhams wouldn't search for a replacement without charging me a finders fee. I didn't want a refund as it was a gift (and didn't own the debit card it was bought with) - I wanted a replacement bag, not a store credit - but they wanted an additional fee just to search stores and couldn't guarantee a replacement.

After about six letters to the customer service team, an email to the chief exec and a telephone call to the store manager I admitted defeat and have never shopped there again. The worst customer service I have ever experienced - totally in a different league to the wonderful John Lewis and M & S who take my money these days

Hi Everyone,

I said i would let you know the outcome of this nightmare so here goes - its a happy ending thank goodness!!

You were right that i didn't get anywhere at all complaining to debenhams!! In the end they found me a size four to go with the size three and given the advice i got from you all, especially the bit about these dresses being small fitting i got them and they fit perfectly my 2yr old twin nieces.
