Both PCs are currently working their way through a Dr Web scan as suggested by Rik on my thread about our other PC. I'll take a look at SAS after that.
As per OP, malwarebytes is already coming up clean.My TV is broken!

Browntoa, my initial thought was that the PCs were the source, but I'm veering towards other theories now too. When you say old fashioned... do you mean cloning, or phishing?
We are dubious about what may have happened on a trip to India last year.. but [EMAIL="I@m"]I'm[/EMAIL] shocked that three separate cards, in two names, have been attacked.My TV is broken!

EDIT (in response to Browns post) I'm thinking that as well, though the amount of missing files in the log makes me suspicious.
Run the scans anyway better safe than sorry. If you uninstalled avast and install Mircosoft Security Essentials you'd have on demand antispyware as well but thats up to you since if you run SAS and MBAM once a month manually you're still covered. I'd only suggest installing Winpatrol to monitor startup entries.
There are loads of ways for card details to be obtained best to have them cancelled.0
