I got a donwload notifaction from HSBC today saying download Rapport Trusteer.
I tested it against some common screen shot software and it didnt work. It only seems to work against the windows print screen. Does anyone else use this software?

There is a long thread about this on the savings and investment forum. Have a look at that if you have time. Before doing something... do nothing0

Hello,
Rapport doesn’t block screen shooting on 64bit Vista/7 or if it was installed using an admin account. This is an expected behavior. Regardless of this though, each bank can decide which pages to block using this mechanism.

Hi thanks for replying. I just ran some tests on my windows XP 32bit computer on a limited user account and it blocked all the screen shots but most of the keylogging tests still fail.
I did install Rapport on my admin account would this affect the out come?
I used this software on a limited user account on XP 32bit http://www.softpedia.com/get/Security/Firewall/Anti-KeyLogger-Tester.shtml DirectX,LowLevel Hook, JournalRecord Hook and GetRawInputData all seemed to captured anything I typed. Is it meant to block these? I fulled logged into my bank account while it was recording everything i typed.0 -

Hi,
There was a typo in our first reply. Screen capturing blocking doesn't work if you have a 64bit operating system or if you install Rapport as a limited user.
As for AKLT - this tool is part of our QA process and it shouldn't be able to log keystrokes. Please check the policy and make sure that both keylogging prevention functions are set to on.
If you require any technical assistance with your testing then please contact use at support at trusteer.com. We'll be more than happy to assist.

The settings where left as defualt I belive. I will double check and make a video if I'm still experiencing a problem.
Edit*
Its working now I had to restart the computer to get the anit keylogging to start. Is it not enabled as default? I think rapport should tell you to restart the computer after enabling it.0 -
I've had several credit card details stolen over the last 2 years so I suspect a keylogger. Installed Rapport not long ago hoping for some protection.
Just installed Anti-KeyLogger-Tester (AKLT). Logged onto bank website (hsbc) where rapport was active as usual. AKLT was set to "GetRawInputData". It captured everything I typed including DOB & Password!!!
