Novice looking to switch!

Hi I have been looking iinto switching for a while now. We currently pay 105 per moth by direct debit for a 2 bedroom mid-terrace house for both gas and electricity.
Now i see from reading other posts that a comparison site is best so what im asking is how do i find out what our useage is??

if you have old bills you can work it out from there, if not simply call your supplier/s and ask them. Of course as soon as you call they will realise why you are asking and may offer a better deal. My reaction to that is, if the deal was already available why didn't they already make the offer.

Hi Lou, just before you decide to change supplier it might be worth just giving them a ring to check you are on the best deal to suit your needs.
For example I did just that this morning and mine on a diffrent tariff would be £8.70 cheeper per month. I was :j.

I said pretty much the same thing above
I would leave on principle, if they can do it cheaper, you shouldn't have to call, they should do it automatically. They do, after all, have your usage pattern on record.
