    Think any NHS employee is fine. Our local costco had a stand a couple of years back in the foyer siging people up for membership. They even let "you and a friend" sign up as one account holder as you get 2 cards per account.

    If you can persuade your employer to sign up for multiple employee cards then once your membership expires you can renew individually, no questions asked.

    That's certainly how it happened for me after I left the employer I had my original card through.

    The bottom line is I think Costco don't mind who is a member, but they have guidelines imposed on them. So it's in their interest to turn a blind eye to renewals like this I suppose.
