Help with train booking please

Hi are there any up to date discount codes out there for any of the train booking websites?

Also while i'm here, please can someone help me find the best fare for 1ad 1ch with a faimily railcard Driffield(Yorks) to London Dep 14th aug(anytime) Ret 17th Aug(anytime). Don't mind how long it takes to get there as long as it's cheap

Best i can do is Driff to Sheffield £18.85 retuen and then Mid mainline Sheff to london £10.20 return. Total £29.05 for me and dd.

I know there are many experts around so please try to find a cheaper one for me please as i am on a really tight budget for this trip.

Wow that is a real bargain well done, :T , there are some really good fares about shame it takes so much searching around to find them.

Hi I need to book Newcastle to London, can you tell me where you saw these.

jordylass i got these by booking 2 sets of tickets.

There are no special fares available from my town as it is not on a main trainline. I booked the Sheffield to london via trainline.com which have singles for £6. I booked with a family railcard so got it cheaper still. To get from my town to Sheffield i can just get the tickets on the train because they are always the same price.

If you are traveling from Newcastle to London i believe GNER have fares for £20 return. There is also a 10% off code for GNER floating about somwhere making it £18.

I think the trick is to find the nearest station to you that do these cheap london tickets and then get the remainder of the journey seperate.
