Pocket Video Cameras

I'm looking to purchase a good video quality pocket camcorder for an upcoming vacation. I'm looking for something that is small and easy to carry around. I'm researching features such as video quality, decent battery life (1-2 hours), battery charging methods, mains preferable since some devices will only charge via USB like the Creative model.

I have narrowed down some choices to 3 popular models:

Kodak Zi8 - poor quality mic, narrow lense
Flip Video Ultra High Definition Camcorder - mixed reviews
Samsung U10 - poor audio quality

Does anyone own any of the models above? If you do, are you happy with it?

Maybe these mini camcorders aren't that great afterall. Is it worth considering a video camcorder instead of these minu models mentioned above?

The flip does apparently have the edge in darker surroundings which was the deal clincher for me. Happy with my choice.

I got the Kodak Zi8, as the 1080p HD video & the removable storage clinched it for me. I got a cheap, external stereo lapel mic to make up for the onboard mic issue.

If anyone has this camera don't forget to upgrade to the latest firmware (1.06)
