Hi There just ring them up and ask for a copy of the original loan agreement this should cost you £1.00

If they are not helpful then send a copy of the SAR letter and change it to fit your needs. They will have to then send back all data they have on file for you. this will cost £10 send it by recorded delivery and give them 40 days to reply.

    Good Luck

    Hi there

If the account is still running then they should still hold the main of the details on this one, so I would start by requesting for of the loan Agreement which should show all the details of the loan and PPI etc, enclose a £1 postal order or cheque payment and tell them they have 12 days to send this, if you can so that you can keep a check on the posting, post by recorded delivery, this way you will know when it reached them by tracking this down on the Royal mail website.

However, you obviously have the account number for this loan as its still active, you could just write to reclaim on this for any reason you have for being mis sold the PPI, I would check this link here below for more details of Martin's, and the guidelines, also a check list of reasons of mis selling, templates to help you along, you write to the ones who sold and arranged the loan, and they have 8 weeks in full to respond, again recorded delivery postage if you can.

If you do require even more paperwork to help you through this, if you want to, you can always request a Subject Access Request (SAR), they have 40 days to comply/send everything they still hold on your on your account, something may be helpful to support your reclaim, but its up to you, there is a charge of £10 postal order or cheque payment for this request and they have 40 days to comply.
Template letter of SAR here if required:

Hope this helps, please ask for help and please let us know how you get on, cheers.

Hi Di, why a True Copy of the Agreement?? If all you are wanting to claim is the PPi then just asking would be fine?

Was just giving the OP an option if they wanted to do this if no paperwork at all, but yeah what you said is fine with just reclaiming on the PPI.;)

Just seems like a strange term for claiming back PPI? True copy of the agreement is most likely needed in something like a loancheck claim but not just for PPI???
