Illuminated keyboard

I'd like to get an illuminated keyboard with a backlight, and don't want to spend alot.

I was looking at this one, but cannot find any reviews, and wondered if anyone has any experience of this one.. or another illuminated keyboard of about the same price range?

I find a couple of tealights fixed to either end of the keyboard sets the mood.......and it's cheap :money:

I have a saitek eclipse II and its great. The light isn't always on - theres a button to turn it on (and through a range of colours - blue, red and purple) and also a dial to vary the brightness. With it turned off it doesn't show that it does anything special. The light is nice and bright (especially on purple, as that just turns on both the red and blue LEDs).

The wrist rest that looks a bit funny in all the pictures can be moved in and out, so if you want it tucked up next to the keyboard you can have it there, there doesn't have to be a gap.

I almost killed my other half when he spilled a glass of orange squash into it, but after unplugging, rinsing thoroughly in the shower and letting it dry its been absolutely fine. It has audio control keys tucked up in a corner too, but no other fancy extra buttons (except the ones for the lights).

I love mine.

why do you want an illuminated keyboard? are you an owl or have problems seeing the keys?

If you're a keen gamer and running Win XP or Vista, I recommend the Logitech G15. If not, probably anything else will do.
