Booked a business class for 3 people to Auckland back in Jnauary for our hols in December.
Now had a call to say schedule has changed and options are
full refund on flight (which I don't want)
or
accept new schedule.
My problem
internal flights are now useless and cannot ne refunded/amended etc
accomodation is £35 amendment fee.
Airline have agreed to pay internal flight but I have now the extra cost of £35 (none of which is my fault) to pay for accomodation.
Also, what is to say they won't change the schedule again and I can't find anything in their T&C's to say about alterations

Anyone with knowledge on these things who can advise please?

I think they can, their business class product is cheaper than others, what have you lost?Posts are not advice and must not be relied upon.0

I know £35 isn't a lot but my worry is what if they change it again and I have to change everything again, the cost goes up and up due to no fault of my ownI haven't got one!0

It is just bad luck I think. Airlines are reluctant to change flights too frequently because they get a reputation for it and this then reduces the possibility of advanced bookings which they prefer to avoid.Posts are not advice and must not be relied upon.0

This is completley within their rights unfortunately and I'd say they have been very generous in helping you with the internals - they did not have too. Fundamentally, the contract you have with them is just to get you from a to b and not a lot else. If you think about it, they have to make schedule changes, when trade drops or increases and they need to decrease/increase the number of flights or alter the timetable to make certain flights connect better. Whenever they do make changes there will always be people booked on these flights (as you can book 11 months in advance) and it would be impractical and maybe unfair to expect the airline to cover everybody's costs. This might sound harsh, but thats the way it is. Anyway, if you can afford business class to NZ whats £35?!!!!And if, you know, your history...0

As for them doing it again...its possible but unlikely. Airlines change there schedules about twice a year and for peak season they are unlikley to tinker a lot with it.And if, you know, your history...0

I know what you're saying and what it looks like but we have saved like mad to pay for this and due to a medical condition I would be unable to travel the distance in a normal seat (hence business class).
It's a once in a lifetime so hopefully they won't change anything further!I haven't got one!0 -
Yeah, I know, thats fair enough. £35 is £35 anyway, I was only being facetious. There will be people who have lost a hell ot a lot more than that from the changes, I'm sure, so don't worry and have a great holiday. And if, you know, your history...0

Don't amend the accomodation booking until the last minute (within T & Cs). That way even if the flights change again you'll only have one £35 charge0
