  • I have had both cuts and colours as a model. I wouldn't hesitate to get a colour again but the last couple of times the cuts were not good. The students were obviously fairly experienced as the lecturer didn't check their work. One bit of advice grow out your fringe and it means you can take longer between trips. Try using the Root touch up and that gives you a couple of weeks longer, it works best if you have a parting of some kind.

I've had a model cut before and it was good, I've also tried the local college after reading about it on this site and was actually really impressed. The lady who did my hair did as good a job as any hairdresser I've been to and definately wasn't any slower. They were not checked often, just a couple of times so I'll be using them again. Also I didn't have to wait long for an appointment at my college.

Have you tried colouring your hair at home? Might be worth a go..
