I just came accross this topic yesterday. Job hunting at the moment so have a lot of free time which I think I'll dedicate to entering competitions.
To the OP and other comping addicts I have a few questions
1) do you just enter the ones in this forum, or are you members of other sites (I see Uk Competitions and Loquax mentionned)
2) Do you have to pay for any of the sites you use
3) How many on average do you enter a day/week and how long until you started winning?
Thanks, fingers crossed for everyone!0 -
Hi Rarchy, I enter a few on this site, and the closing comps on loaquax. Sometimes I enter all the ones posted, sometimes I don't enter anything for a few days. Depends how much free time I have. If I win something, it motivates me to enter as many as I can find. Also, boyfriend has started to bring me comps torn out of magazines at work lol. I only enter online ones and they are free to enter. Only once have I texted to win a comp but I won a little smirnoff fridge so that was ok.0

Hi all,
I have been regularly browsing the forums.... mostly on the debt free wannabe threads but coming across the competitions forums and all the successful stories has renewed my interest in comps. I haven't done any for about two years but am definitely inspired again. Good luck and keep posting your good news.

Forgot to mention..... my friend won a Smart car in a tiebreaker competition for washing powder! :T0

Another win today, this time a win for my 4 year old daughter. A set of mermaid S.O.S books. They are a bit too 'old' for her though so I will probably ebay them then buy her some books suitable to her age.
