I am going to set myself a challenge:
To enter comps on a daily basis wherever I come across them. I will mainly be entering online comps as they are free but if I see any postal comps in local paper or for small companies I will enter as there is a greater chance of winning.
I have decided to do this as this morning I have had a small win arrive - a nice manchester united wash bag with razor, shaving gel, shower gel and deodrant in ( I haven't a clue where from though! ) from when I had a day of entering lots of comps last month. So if I dedicate a bit of time ( maybe 20 or 30 mins a day ) to entering online comps I may get lucky!!
Wish me luck!!

I think there are loads of us here - me included - who are trying to do the same!!!

I'm having just a little luck, but wish you all the best in your quest.:grouphug: A smile, a 'please' and a 'thank you' cost nothing0 -
Ive been doing compititions since 1998 and have won some fantastic prizes including holidays to Las Vegas the prize was for my wedding in the monte carlo Hotel, limozines, £500 spending money and flowers , accomodation, flights etc. Also won a family skiing holiday to Italy, mini cruise to Germany, pontins cambersands , £300 sports clothes plus lots of smaller prizes. Entering is great fun and well worth it. Good luck with your quest.Competitions wins 2010

Their was a guy running a blog of all the competitions he's entered and what we had run, i think he was trying to do 1 million or something.
Don't think he won anything though.0 -

I got two in the post this morning, ended up giving one to my dad! I googled the prize and it was part of a massive giveaway...........hardly a unique win! Good luck though, i started as a giggle and then serious prizes started appearing........to say it now takes up my entire lunchbreak everyday/every sunday morning for the past four years entering is an understatement.i_wanna_save_money! wrote:I have decided to do this as this morning I have had a small win arrive - a nice manchester united wash bag with razor, shaving gel, shower gel and deodrant in ( I haven't a clue where from though! )0 -

Good luck.
I've been comping for about 18 months and have won loads of prizes inlcuding a weekend in Amsterdam with flights and 3 nights at the Hilton, weekend in Cardiff, £400 gift vouchers, Nintendo DS and Nintendogs, loads of CDs and DVDs, hair care stuff, £10 gift voucher, tanning kit. Most of it I've sold on ebay but I kept the weekends away and the £400 vouchers.2008 Comping ChallengeWon so far - £3010 Needed - £230Debt free since Oct 20040 -
I've just made a list of everything I won last year, and I'm going to keep it for the year ahead starting from the 1st of August. See if my manic comp entering wins me more stuff than it did last year.
I won all in all about £400 worth of prizes last year. I only used to enter a few comps last year, but now I'm going to enter as many as I can for the next 12 months and see if there's a difference in prizes.0 -
I found that generally postal ones arn't worth entering if they are small prizes. It's not worth paying for all the stamps for little prizes like DVDs because so many people enter them. Postal comps are only worth it if they are big prizes.2008 Comping ChallengeWon so far - £3010 Needed - £230Debt free since Oct 20040
