Can someone please clarify what the rold of a disbaled student advisor is (mental health) and what criteria, according to the disability discrimination act, they have to abide by.
Also, what is the role of a mentor.

You need to be more specific - the role could vary at each university.
My uni has MH Support Workers, who work on a one to one basis to help students overcome barriers to uni. This ranges from arranging enhanced library services, liaising with academic staff as well as helping the student to develop coping mechanisms. They can also help with external issues, such as speaking with others involved in your care.
A mentor could be a more senior student or a university employee. Again, this varies, but they tend to help with more academic problems, developing study skills etc.Gone ... or have I?0
