Thanks will have a look, we have a 2001 3 door Ford Focus currently, we want to change to a 5 door as we have a baby on the way any suggestions? like the size boot space of the focus ( I am a sculptor). Any Advice, and what to avoid?
feel like as we are starting a family should get a Volvo!

ive got a 3 door focus, i don't think the boots particulary big to be honest. do you really need an extra 2 doors for a baby? if its in the back then theres no doors or windows it can accidentaly open (obviously child locks are available on rear doors).

i don't have any kids but ive seen a few folk post on here how it can be easier to strap them in when you can push the front seat forward as you can face the child as you secure it,and when its raining you can get righ in the car infront of the child.

don't automatically assume you have a kid need a bigger car. the focus is a popular suggestion for folk in your position but with a smaller car like a fiesta or clio.

How tall are you?
I'm almost 6ft, with the Focus seat in the right position for me as a driver there is not enough space for a toddler in a forward facing seat behind me. Won't be any better with a rear facing infant carrier as they take even more space.
Skoda Fabia has more space than this.
After a few months of braking your back getting into a 3 door car with child seats etc. those Focus C-Max's are going to look like a really good idea More space in those between front seats and rear seats.
