My LG dvd recorder has finally reached a point where it just doesn't like playing DVDs at all and just makes lots of funny noises. It's done well after 7 years and it's time for a new dvd player for my bedroom. Sadly, where I work, the samsung and sony upscalers are pretty much uncrackable, so if anybody knows of a decent one that fits my requirements, i'd be grateful for the info.
I'm talking simple push button codes, not firmware cracks because they're not worth the hassle.

- Put them all on an old hard drive and watch them non stop without changing a disk in HD 1080 for £25
- Or buy a little flash drive and ditto for a few at a time

Interesting device, but the only problem I'd have is that my comp's dvd drive has locked to region 2 now. The only method I have of watching my R1 DVDs is through my now dead LG dvd recorder
.
Unless there's a way to rip the ISO without the dvd drive/software detecting the region?0 -

I've always been too paranoid to mess around with firmware.0 -
