With thanks to purpleroses on the debt free wannabe board.

As usual private sellers only.
This time I would urge all sellers to read the full announcement before listing so we can avoid people being charged for listing items that were ineligible.
Just to make sure please note it does say:
All items listed with professional tools, such as "Turbo Lister", “Bulk relisting tool” and "Sales Manager Pro" are excluded from this promotion.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. This is probably the other condition that differs as well this time:
Items which are listed using the Auction-style format with a Reserve Price will be excluded from this promotion.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. Of course, it would save all the problems if Ebay didn't make things more complicated than they need to be in order to catch people out.
A simple 'no business or power sellers' would be more appropriate. What is happening to the English Language? These are not isolated, but repeated every day.
'Definate', 'Aswell', 'Rediculous', 'Payed'...and the best of all 'Could Of'. How can anyone think that 'Could Of' can actually mean anything. You may as well write 'Could Zebra' for all the sense it makes.0 -
Just to make sure please note it does say:
All items listed with professional tools, such as "Turbo Lister", “Bulk relisting tool” and "Sales Manager Pro" are excluded from this promotion.
Just got my email from eBay and doublechecked as I got caught on a couple of items last time :mad:0 -
I've read through the t & c three times now and can't see the sentence about 'professional listing tools' being excluded.
Is Auctiva classified as a professional listing tool?
Thanks0 -
Please can you tell me where it says
All items listed with professional tools, such as "Turbo Lister", “Bulk relisting tool” and "Sales Manager Pro" are excluded from this promotion.
I have read the conditions 3 times and cannot see it.
Thanks0 -
Believe me, the phrase:
All items listed with professional tools, such as "Turbo Lister", “Bulk relisting tool” and "Sales Manager Pro" are excluded from this promotion.
was there about an hour or so ago when I first read through the t's & c's - but I can't see it either now!0
