Im a childminder and will have lots of childreno ver the summer. I like to take the children to lots of places as if their happy so am I. As you can imagine this can get very expensive so I make up packed lunches etc. But there is still extra money needed for icecreams, cool drinks and entrance prices. Can anyone suggest some cheap and cheerful days out that wont break the bank. Free is even better.
Thanks Kacy

have you tried snibson discovery park. I think junction 11 M42. We have been loads of times. Suits kids from 3 to about 15, with plenty to do all day and it is cheap. I think last time we went i was about £12 for 4Anyone who lives within their means suffers from a lack of imagination:beer:

Museum of British Road Transport is a must. There are hundreds of vehicles from the year dot to present day. Thrust2 is there, and also ThrustSSC, which includes a simulator ride across the desert at 700mph. There is a good World War 2 section too, including getting to sit in an air raid shelter during a raid.:o
It is right in the centre of Coventry, and it is absolutely FREE:j0 -
