    Report back what the plumber says as you have booked one. I wouldn't advocate doing anything until he has been.

    :( plumber didn't show....

    will be chasing him up seeing as he's the only plumber that I have been recommended. Will report back asap.

    I hope the noise is not from the floorboard as pipe gets expanded due to hot water and rub against the joist...

    See if you can find an alternative ( click on 'standard ' to search ) as a back up if No 1 is a persistent no show.

    or a bouncing TRV. Not good of the plumber to be a no-show. Hope he's got a got reason.

    apparently he couldn't find our house....

    Anyhow, OH is going to talk to him today to see whats happening. Thanks for the advice & link. Will keep reporting back as I can :)
