    Stop buying expensive cleaning things,

Stardrops does for just about everything in the house and is normally less than £ a bottle.
make the most of it, we are only here for the weekend.
and we will never, ever return.

Use your teabags twice and then compost them.
If you read a newspaper, read it online.
If you're on a water meter, put a brick or Hippo water saving device in your
toilet cistern to save water when flushing. Water companies often supply
    them free.
Cut up used incoming envelopes and use them as scap notepads.
On dry days, dry your laundry outdoors and don't use a tumble drier.
When cooking a roast, turn oven off 10 minutes early and let the food go on
    cooking in the residual heat.
Only fill the kettle with enough water for the cup of coffee you need.
Run your washing machine on a 30 degree wash whenever possible.
Cut your dishwasher tablets in half unless you your plates are really dirty.

When you cook a chicken boil it, put vegetables & rice in with it & you will have stock for soup/curry as well. Tea bags have no compost value.
