i know, but that isnt the point i'm making. i don't need MRC...i could qualify for it but i refuse to exaggerate my problems in order to get it.
the problem i have is going out.......and i dont qualify!

But if you can get MRC then why not take it if you can't get the HRM. You would be £2 worse off a week and does it matter if it comes from HRM or MRC unless of course you're wanting a car on HRM then I can see your frustration.

Nannytone has clearly stated that she thinks she doesn't meet the criteria for MRC.

i do meet the criteria.............but i manage well enough to not feel the need to claim.
i'd feel fraudulent doing so, as long as i'm organised (which i am to within an inch of my life lol) i have no real problems.
but ask me to pop over the road for a pint of milk and i can't!

If you meet the criteria and are entitled to it then why not claim it? Strange but your choice ;)

Some people on HRM can't drive. You can nominate up to 2 drivers.

Most people who are reg blind or P/ Blind, can see 'something' it doesn't mean they can't see at all. It goes by the persons visual acuity. People often make the mistake in thinking a blind person see's nothing, just black and dark, in most cases this isn't the case.
The day I had my Beautiful son is the day everything came together for me. For someone so small he done so much and made me complete.

I was told it's only a few who are registered blind have no sight at all.

Many blind people would probably use their HRM for taxis and not the car.
