He made a genuine mistake and wrote to confirm it. Thats why its so unfair why they took the course that they did

Look, rather than blame the Hunter register, who I can't possibly see have done anything wrong other than flag up the point that your wifes income appears inconsistent (which is what they are set up to do). Blame whoever input that information in the first place.

Hunter find out all sorts of things. Not only fraud by the General Public but also by serial Lie To Buy Mortgage Brokers, so no, I'm not connected but am rather glad they are there to expose these fraudulent applications.

OK, I sympathise if you feel hard done by, but you have to agree, how can Hunter be responsible for incorrect information ? Not all information has been "incorrectly" inputted and there job is to flag the inconsistent not ignore it

He would have had other documents with the correct salary if he genuinely made a mistake in processing, that would have backed up his error.

Was it a self cert mortgage he made the mistake on....when proof of income was requested was that when the mistake was discovered.

Like I said Leon, the FA made a genuine mistake and admitted to it. It was disclosed as an error at the time. No one has done any thing fraudulant here. We are honest hard working people and take offence to being labelled as frauds. And not being allowed to open a bank account as a result is outragous. We just want the matter to be rectified.

He was given the documents that supported the facts on the application. He did not send in the correct documents and so there was an anomoly. It could have been rectified with one phone call to him Instead and without consultation the mortgage was declined on the advice of NH

Why would he prepare other docs than the clients originals?...No advisor would..

I didnt say that. I said he failed to send the correct documentation, not someone elses. He is a human not a machine, humans often make mistakes.

I'm closing the discussion now. I'm tired of the whole matter. Let the solicitor sort it out. They get paid enough!

Yes they do and they did and guess what? When the FA advised them of his mistake and earnings were clarified with HMRC, they agreed to continue with the Mortgage application. By this time however National Hunters had decided that it was fraudulant which it most certainly wasnt, so I dont know what interest you may have in Birmigham Midshires my friend but /on this occasion you are wrong.
