Compact tumble dryer questions

We have to use a compact tumble dryer as where it fits in our old airing cupboard, it's the only place to store one.
We currently have to open the window to let out all the steam etc and have been considering a compact condenser - sadly on further inspection, the only one we can find is a Zanussi and it doesn't appear to fit !!
My question is, if we get a vented compact TD, would one of those 'hose and box' attachments sort us out ?? or would we still have to have the window open and put up with all the airborn fluff and damp etc etc
Thank you in advance.

Thanks to MSE I cleared £37k of debt in five years and I was lucky enough to meet Martin to thank him personally.

Those contraptions where you put the vent hose in a tub of water do not work
Some properties will be more susceptible than others to the effects of high humidity casued by the dryer, and may start to experience black mould.
The only real solution is to vent the hose properly to external air - or get a condenser dryer.
Treating any constant mould is normally more expensive in the long run0 -
Thanks for your help and advice - we are going to have to look at washer/dryers I think !!Thanks to MSE I cleared £37k of debt in five years and I was lucky enough to meet Martin to thank him personally.0
