Handy info about removing neg feedback

I was on the phone to eBay PS support yesterday getting a negative feedback comment removed (customer left neg fb but left really nice comment, clear to see it’s a mistake from a new user)

Anyway…

He removed it for me and we got on the topic of my other negative feedback (only have 1 from back in Oct) I said I resolved the issue and the customer was happy but failed to return the feedback revision form within 10 days, he said If I ask the customer to follow up on his feedback saying he is now happy and the issue was resolved eBay will remove the feedback!

So I have now sent a nice email to the buyer who left me a negative and asked them very nicely to follow up on feedback and gave clear instructions how to do it.… fingers crossed he will follow up and I can get it removed!

Im sure other sellers are in this same situation so its worth a try.

Steve

V Interesting thank you - but the lady who left me a neutral because I'd said this was my favourite whatever and when she tried it, it wasn't her favourite is beyond any niceties I'm afraid! :D

I only leave a neg if it is really bad or if I don't get the item. if selling I always contact the buyer to resolve any issues and the neg is a very, very last resort.
