shame faced (and def not recommended) moneysaving thing happened to me yesterday. My quaterly payment for tv licence bounced at end of September and I (yet again) didnt get around to sorting it out and I got the visit last night from the two tv licence men. I reset up my payment schedule there and then and they started my licence up as of yesterday with a clean slate saving me the cost from September to Feb so essentially 5 months free however, I may get reported to the fiscal and have a fine so at the moment, saved money but the penalty will be higher....what a numpty!! Glad its sorted though, another thing off the tick list!!

Angel - how horrible and embarrassng for you - you sound like you were really brave and handled it all splendidly - I would have held my hands out for the cuffs and gone quietly!

Welcome Newleaf  and well done on your cancellation

    Today I have /will:
    • Have my hair cut but not pay the extra £30 for a colour - when I can stand it no more will buy temporary one and apply it myself.
    • Have transferred £30 that didn't spend (see above) to bills account to pay off small overdraft that had sneaked on - feel very virtuous about this as is 0% for first £250 but don't like seeing negative figures
    • 2 MS to do this afternoon that they actually rang me up for - headhunted for the first time n my life lol!
    • Will arrange car insurance now that credit card bill has dropped on mat thus giving self 7 weeks before having to pay for it technically - quote is all in place - just need to hit spend button, via quidco naturally
    • Keep eye on ebay items finishing today and find moral fibre to list more
    • Will will will do a dooyoo review - do not know why I keep putting it off
    Have a good day everyone

    Usual NSD.
Walking to and from work from the station (I should point out its 2 miles from the station to work - so thats 4 miles walk a day).
I don't take enough money out with me to buy things. I carry a £1 coin oftentimes and thats it. Can't spend what I don't have on me.

Valentines day will be a bit of a cost but should be able to work around it. My wife and I deserve a night out anyways.
