I had my implant taken out just a few months short of the three years, thought it was brilliant at first but have put on over a stone in weight and even though it was taken out last December, still haven't lost the weight. My biggest problem was I felt it was making me depressed, I cried at the drop of a hat and practically cried at the doctors begging them to remove it.

Tried the Nuvaring (gave me thrush) and now on the patch, get itchy skin where it is placed, don't think any form of contraception is without bad points.

Ooh, i was just asking about this on the depression thread, since I had my implant I have been more depressed, even when taking AD's, am due to go to my docs next week, seriously thinking about having it taken out.

I put weight on with the injection which is why i changed, might have to try something different i guess!
Be who you are, say what you feel, those who mind don't matter, those who matter don't mind.
They say that talking to yourself is a sign of mental illness. So I talk to the cats instead.
