well while waiting for ss (didn't show up, gutted) i decided to batter the washer with a screwdriver, hurt myself in the process but got the door open...so thats one worry out the way. now i just need to hit it again to fix it, or find a way to still use it without the handle???

My washing machine handle broke too and I very nearly bought a new machine. But I undid a few screws and got to the handle. I found the part number and ordered it from that website. Cost me £10.20 - much cheaper than a new machine or engineer!Official DFW Nerd No 096 - Proud to have dealt with my debt!0 -
