i just wanna cry :(

today started out ok, but rapidly went downhill when i got to work, manager is a cow...who's isn't??
i picked myself up and went to the gym and was fine, got home and still felt a little stressed, that list of things i wanted to get done before hols hasn't gone down at all.
fair enough, did whati had to do online then started gettin myself ready for bed, hot water bottle (i got cold toes lol), cup of tea, dishes done...thought i'd hang up the wet washing to get it dry before i go, got stuff in there i need...

the bloody handle on my washing machine broke, so basically the day before i go away (near enough) and i have a load of wet washing stuck in the machine. and worst of all, all i can do is sit and sob over now having to pay someone a fortune to fix it or get a new machine. i knew i was having too good a week for it to last :(

Aw chick - really feel for you.

Similar thing happened to me recently when the cooker went on the blink. Thankfully it only needed a part that my dad could fit but I was so worried I was going to have to fork out for a new one.

Is there anyone who could have a look at it for you? They might be able to get the door open and then you could fix it when you come back?

pretty much got noone up here. my dad could probably fix it, but at 17 i came up with the wise idea of moving away from all my family. i guess i didn't properly think that one through...

will text my dad and ask his advice, just feeling very sorry for myself. gonna go tuck myself up in bed an hope that when i wake up it's all been a bad dream.

Before you call anyone in to repair it, have a look here

My washing machine handle broke too and I very nearly bought a new machine. But I undid a few screws and got to the handle. I found the part number and ordered it from that website. Cost me £10.20 - much cheaper than a new machine or engineer!

try not to stress (easier said than done) i had one of those days on monday....i would chuck all the clothes down the launderette and worry about the machine when you get back.........i know proberly the least most sensible suggestion you will get on here but i would just focus on enjoying yourself on holiday......hope things look up for you tomorrow...

or even better still can you stick it all in a friends/relatives machine??

thanks folks, i don't have anyone living nearby that can help as regards drying it for me, plus i'd need to fight it out the machine first.
