As one of the tutting child free passengers, can I just say that the thing that winds me up the most isn't the crying (can't be helped after all, just glad it's not me trying to calm frazzled kids), it's the children who kick the back of your seat for hours on end, or who are up and down like yo-yo's every 5 minutes swinging on the back of the seat every time they move.
Like a previous poster said, most passengers seem to be fairly tolerant otherwise.
All shall be well, and all shall be well, and all manner of things shall be well.

Pedant alert - it's could have, not could of.

We went to the Dominican with our dd last year and she was almost 3. Tbh it was a lot better than I thought it would be!!

She had her own bag which I filled with new small toys - snap cards, one of those books you draw on and then wipe clean, aquadraw and other bits. She had a quick look at them but was fascinated by the tv programs - I would recommend investing in some earphones that fit!! The ones they give you are rubbish.

We also got fed twice, so that breaks everything up and distracts for a while, plus she slept for a bit too.

The flight back was even better as it was a night flight so she slept (draped across me ) and had to be woken up for breakfast and landing!!

I have a friend who comes from New Zealand and lives in Denmark. She has 3 children ranging from 3.5 yrs down to 4mths, and they've done the trip several times !!
