I am going to buy a lcd tv soon. I am thing of either the Lg 37lh3000 or the Samsung Le37b550. Does anyone own one of these or have an opinion on either of them.
Any feedback good or bad would be very much appreciated.

Personally id go for the samsung
But bear in mind that they tend to have quite bad 'lag' so gaming wont be too good on it:idea:0 -
Notwithstanding the more expert knowledge that AliEnRIK would offer, I am more than happy with my collection of LG's that I have recently bought.
I have got from the LH3000 and the LH4010 range, as well as some TV / monitors and have been happy all round.
As I say, AliEnRIK will be able to offer more informed technical reasons to choose otherwise, and I would not neccesarily disagree with him - but I chose for a number of other reasons as well.0 -
Thank you for your comments. I won't be doing any gaming. Watching freesat and using my dvd. I think I will do a bit more research before I decide.0

I spent lots of time actualy looking at the tellys in various shops, of course some will have a better input signal and this can alter what you see!
I used to buy sony tellys as I had an old sony , the sort you need a removal crew to move, and it was fantastic, but when i bought my latest telly, I thought that sony had lost the edge and I bought a panasonic viera LCD 37 inch, it was about £600, so i imagine its about £500 now!....but its fantastic, it handle sky hd well , dvds are even better ..all in all I am very satisfied, and i am a fussy wotsit.....
I got mine from empire direct (dont snigger) at the time, they offerred the best price but they also had a free 5 year guarantee...but they have gone bankrupt...so that guarantee is not exactly worth a lot..lol
I have since heard of people finding some of the best models in richer sounds and then asking john lewis to price match, and when they price match they also give you a john lewis 5 year guarantee
so, have a look at the pannys, they are pretty special...in my opinion..0
