Just out of interest, VirginMobile are offering this phone at £60. So, that's no profit, but you do get to keep:

It does seem really wasteful, though. No quidco on virginmobile payg.

Well got a call - and is now going through ok.
Was told only 1 black phone left but some pink at same price, so i am getting one of each.

It may be worth thinking about selling on ebay anyway lol - being unlocked it means you have a pretty big audience. Will have a look when it comes delivered (tomorrow before 9am!).

I think I would put the card in and test the phone - not call anyone but make sure you can call the top up service. Also I would charge the battery if need to make things less complicated for tesco.

I think if you do that and take the SIM out it will be topped up. However, if you are waiting for the envelope, then just check it in 3 days time.

Just rang up e2save about the credit they say its not a voucher u have to register the sim card and it will go on, if it hasnt gone on in 3 days to ring them back and they will give u a voucher number over the phone.

I have 4 separate phones. Do I have to put a sim card in each one to register it, or can I just do it on one phone?

should just work on one phone but i would do each in order to make sure it works - you will need to resend it back if it doesnt and you will have problems if its gone through to TESCO (no gift card and 50 points only)

Thanks for this. I have already charged the phones and made sure they turn on and off. I will play with the sim cards when I get home.

Just rang vodaphone to query how to activate sim without registering it, they said send a blank txt to 9770 its like a vodafone testing thing and he said that will activate it. hth
