    They're only offering £5 for it now - wonder if the original £60 was a mistake?
    Got my confirmation emails so just awaiting the cards now ....

  • Ok people I have just contacted tesco mobile recycle and they claim that they have sent my giftcard on the 19th Feb, but nothing! They said it may have been lost in the post which I very much doubt because it seems everyone is still waiting.

    They have now sent off a request to their warehouse to send me a new one, which I take is another 14days? Who knows.

    I strongly advise you to call tesco mobile recycle on 08450020895.

    My last lot of Giftcards from Tesco came Special Delivery. It was for £180 but it's their 'problem' if you don't receive them.
    I'm wondering if they keep a note of the Card number and could it be cancelled if need be?

    Just rang and was told exactly the same that it was sent on 19th and they have to ring tesco to get it cancelled and will send me a new one as soon as that is done! Surely if we are responsible for sending the phone back with proof of posting and delivery then they can do the same for our gift cards. so still having to wait, suppose ill have to do my shopping, been holding out so i can use this card!

    Hi,

    I just rang and I got the, 'We're waiting on Tesco to send us more giftcards answer'.

    They said that any vouchers would be sent out Special Delivery, once they had received them, so it seems strange that they can't track your vouchers.

    When I said i'd been waiting 14 days, they said that was incorrect as they received the phone on the 24th February 2010. I sent mine by Special Delivery and when I checked it on the Royal Mail website, it was signed for on the 18th February 2010.

    Edit: I received the confirmation e-mail on 24th February, so theoretically they are still within the terms of the e-mail.

    I pretty much doubt they were 'lost in the post'. yes i was told it was sent special delivery, so im guessing they use that service so it doesn't get, as they say 'lost in the post'.

    Its another way getting around 'please wait 14 days', because they simply have not sent any out, perhaps because they are waiting for giftcard stock, which is unusual. How can a company like tesco not keep up with customer demand!

    I did call again hoping they got a reply from their warehouse but they didn't. I left a contact number and was told will get a call tommorow, so will keep you updated to what they say.

    I have emailed them via the contact form as everything in writing is the best way of dealing with this, therefore if we all gets emails back re lost in post excuse or run out cards then its in black white and can be used if ness.

    Has anyone received their cards yet? The 14 days from the confirmation email is not until a week (although that makes over a month from when i sent the special delivery).
