What about the Credit Expert? The one with ice from the Sea of Tranquility and the pig who can detect truffles? He's AWFUL! Please have another vote to convince the powers that be to remove this from our screens. Please!

Where is the "118 24-7" horrid, cheap and nasty animated one? OMG! That, the Halifax and Go Compare have me reaching for the mute button every time. I just wish I could afford Sky+ like irishwench69!!

If an advert grates me i simply will stop shopping/using the product/company (yes I am that wound up by some ads) is there anyone esle out there like this?

If I did the line up the ads I find the most annoying on tv are:
1. GO compare (all of them)
2. HAlifax (radio station) as well as all of their singing ones - ive actually changed banks because of that one ha ha theyve lost a customer due to an advert not gained one
3. BArclays ads (spending their money on annoying ads & letting all english staff go in their head office - coulda spent the money elsewhere and not peed off the public)
4. compare the market dot com
5. asda with its who do you think you are kidding mr hitler music
6. christmas catalogue advert with the woman that played lindsay corkhill in brookside
7. churchil ads (again all of them)
8. thomas cook adverts (they are bad - just like their flights and holidays)
9. direct line
10. jamie olivers sainsbury adverts

I thought I would write to them to complain about their annoying ad and this is my reply:
We very much appreciate your feedback regarding the new Gocompare.com advertising campaign. We are sorry to hear that you’re not a fan. The campaign is just a bit of fun and certainly not meant to offend in any way, but thank you for your comments – we hope that you will still consider Gocompare.com when searching for your insurance needs.
I had already told them in my email that I would not be using their services until they removed that annoying ad from the telly! Sorry Matthew from Go Compare, you just didn't listen!!!!

ha ha ha....I wrote again and asked them NOT to spurt out just an automated email to respond to my complaint and this is what I got:

I LOVE the Go Compare ads!! The tenor is called Wynn Evans and we go to see him every year at the Castle Howard Proms!! He's a fantastic singer!

Halifax...As a bank that is supposed to be struggling to stay afloat how can they afford to keep churning out this dreadful adverts?
The latest advert ...the reward horn ...makes NO sense whats so ever.The actors are cheesy and totally annoying.:mad:

I'd just like to add my vote against GoCompare. I immediately scramble for the RC and hit the mute button. Changing channels can be a gamble as I've found on other stations at the same time.

I will NOT be using them when insurance is due.

Halifax ad is SOOOooo cheesy I feel a little part of me dies every time it comes on.

Who comes up with these? and who thinks they are a good idea? Do they deliberately set out to make a 'bad' advert?
