Router on the blink

My router is playing up. It's a BT voyager 210 ADSL router that BT gave free when we signed up.

Still no need for 'wireless' so what should I do. Can I just buy any router or should I buy another BT one ?

Can't help but think this is a dull question... but then I am dull

Any UK ADSL router should be fine.

I think its over heating. I end up with only two, or even just one light on.

Probably (nearly) dead then but maybe try another power adapter (if you have a spare) ?

I mean something similar to this...sometimes called an
AC adapter.

Now I feel really dull.... have found a spare adapter and will give it a go.

Before you do so, do remember that the power supply must match the voltage of, and supply at least as much current as, the original power supply. Don't you want you inflicting further damage.
