Not a vent but...OMG Creda & Their Engineer!

Well, the man came to fix my shower between 9am-11am today and turned up at 1:30pm and had some sort of break down himself in the process.

My shower isn't actually fixed but the engineer started shouting and swearing at me and my 8 month old and was throwing his tools about in the bathroom  and just took the front cover off the shower and left it like that!

Asked him to leave and he did and had to phone the police as he was just sat outside in his van and wouldn't leave.

Anyway, he did eventually before the boys in blue came but Creda won't send anyone else out until the engineer who came today completes his report, I don't think that'll be any time soon given he seemed very, very stressed and just flipped out really.

I'm not that bad....surely!

  • Why don't you phone up Creda and ask to make a complaint. Don't get fobbed off, ask for their Customer Services department.
    BTW what set him off?
  • I have done and put it in writing and sent an e-mail to their service manager, who will 'look into it'

I don't know I showed him the bathroom and the shower, told him what was wrong, he was banging about in bathroom and I went to see if he was OK and he just let rip.
  • Update: Phone call from Creda....engineer suspended.

They asked him for his side and allededly he said he was coming back to my house and would 'have it out' with me. They weren't satisfied with this response and the manager who my husband spoke to said he sounded quite odd on the phone and they felt further investigation is needed.

Asked me to call them again (as well as police) if he turns up at the house.

He is obviously very stressed...he might have all sorts of problems going on and unfortunately your paths just crossed. Hopefully Creda will send someone round who will fix your shower and be a very nice man or woman!

Householders have a right to expect that callers coming to work in their homes are above reproach and shouldnt feel threatened.

you didnt drive him to it did you...? Did you make tea?
Feudal Britain needs land reform. 70% of the land is "owned" by 1 % of the population and at least 50% is unregistered (inherited by landed gentry). Thats why your slave box costs so much..
