computer freezing

yes in safe mode but not in normal mode im getting a blank screen there

Well in that case you need to look at your start up items in safe mode. i..e What programs are configured to start up and disable a few of them in safe mode, and see if normal start up works.

ah i spoke to soon i'm back on phone again the page has just froze on here and i have just got the blue circle going round constantly it won't even let me switch it off grr

hi people i still need help with my computer b4 i throw it lol. im stuck using it in safe mode because when u try and put it in normal mode it just freezes, so far i have removed most things from start up and have just got basic things now, i have removed lots of things, as have downloaded some games to my phone (other day)so have removed all these items and even the pc suite and media go with all downloads that i put onto my phone, i have run malware and ccleaner and they are saying everything is fine...now im stuck i dont know what to do or where to look at or what else i can try...can anyone think of anyother reasons its just constantly freezing or any links to things i can look at???

To boot from the CD you may need to go into the BIOS and set the boot order. When you first boot up.. watch the screen for the key to press to get into setup. Normally it will be Del, Esc, F1 or F2.

And are the recovery options in my post above (especially given that you can enter safe mode) still not available to you .
