Cheap Easter Holidays short break - Cornwall

I posted this in the grabbit section but I've now realised there is a holiday section, so here is my post again lol -

I saw on the Hendra Holiday Park website that they are offering their superior standard caravans half price throughout March and April. When I went to book a Monday to Friday stay in the Easter Holidays (Monday 12th April) they said the whole park is fully booked. I wasn't surprised as the price was remarkably cheap - £129.50 for a 2010 caravan!! Other holiday parks are offering the same thing for £400 upwards!

I was then browsing looking (unsuccessfully) for such good accommodation at such a cheap price and saw the same dates on Hoseasons, but for £295. It turns out that a certain number of units are booked through Hoseasons, so even though Hendra told me they were booked, Hoseasons still have some. Anyway I called them and as advertised on their site, they did a price match so I got it for the £129.50 price!

There are some left so any of you who fancy a £129.50 5 day break in the Easter Holidays, give Hoseasons a ring, asking for the price match deal. It's the Watergate 2 caravan, which are brand new this year - they have flat screen tvs, dvd players, freeview, full central heating, full size fridge freezers and more!

There are no other deals like this around - trust me, I've exhausted myself looking!!

Hope this helps someone.

Sally x

I'd say that hendra is a good choice, too, especially if you like water slides.

Hendra is a well run site. The club/pool will cost you extra. Their landscaping can come as a shock to a lot of people because they have won some Bellamy Award, which is all about eco-gardening, using local plants and not wasting water, which can mean the grass isn't green and the planting is sparse... but it's supposed to be like that.
