CCS Consumer Credit Services - Are they legit?

in Credit cards
I just had a call from CCS informing me that they can claim back any money owed by banks or credit card companies over the last 12 months, irrelevant of whether you have paid off those cards. All you have to do is pay them £199 up front. If they aren't able to save you any money they will give you a full refund. They sound completely dodgy but I just want to know if they are legit or not. If anyone can give me any info that would be great!
Thanks

No. Scam. Relying on law that has proven unreliable in court. It's stuff you can do yourself for free, all the letter templates are available all over t'interweb, you have just as much chance of success as this company - i.e. slim to nil.
Probably a toll anyway...Cashback Earned ¦ Nectar Points £68 ¦ Natoinwide Select £62 ¦ Aqua Reward £100 ¦ Amex Platinum £48

I think I will open one of these companies - charge an upfront fee of £200 then ''give'' you back £10 and keep £190 - lovely jubbly - this time next year I'll be a millionaire!0

Consumer Credit Services
Generally, I'd say any company using any of those words in that manner is dodgy. Scammers.
Preying on idiots and there's no shortage of them.
Don't speak to people on the phone unless you know them and sort your debts out in a proper manner.0 -

It's no accident these scammers operate under the names they do."A child of five could understand this. Fetch me a child of five." - Groucho Marx0 -
Obviously, I discount them but they are not a business or private individual trading. So it should really go without saying.
Still slightly dodgy though as I see they use the word "Corporate" on their Who We Are page. They are not a corporation, they are a charity and they should be using .org.uk too and not a .co.uk. Obviously, a glossy charity.
Charities look more like dodgy businesses everyday I see their advertising, new brand names and gloss.0 -

LOL. I'll assume you don't read all of the posts on the board then - when some people don't understand that they need to make minimum payments during a 0% promotion then you can't assume anything"A child of five could understand this. Fetch me a child of five." - Groucho Marx0 -
Beware Jock see my other post today.
(a)These companies do not pay the money back
(b) enforcability is more likely than UNenforcability
(c) this act allows law firms to open up insurance policies on your account (or they can use a policy that you have which covers legal costs) they them milk as much as they can from the policy regardless of your chances of success. There is only likely to be 1 winner here
Do it yourself directly to the CC co.0
