Dubai Hotel; Cheapish, Central and Clean

Sorry about this. I know this has been raised before but I'm struggling to find anywhere. I've booked 33 nights of my trip but can't find anywhere that's central and clean in Dubai without paying a fortune. I've tried lastminute.com and asiarooms.com and others. Every time I find something its either mega expensive or when I check on VT its not clean. Not bothered about 5* but do want clean. Can anyone recommend anywhere?

I can recommend the Jumeira Rotana - it is one of the hotels that I have used on business trips.

Ibis or Novotel are cheap, Towers Rotana good 4* (stayed there March) all on Sheik Zayed Road very central.
