I don't think it's worth keeping the virgin card open, do you?
Virgin has been good in the past on repeat 0% deals, but they've been a bit thin on the ground recently. I've still got a Virgin card with a 15K limit I phone every month to check for offers - have just started putting some of my normal monthly spend through it to boost my internal score at their end and look a bit less like a stoozer
Was told this week by Virgin that I couldn't have a new 0% offer from MBNA because my last 0% promotion ended "within the last 12 months" so cancelling and reapplying might still be rejected depending how the dates work out.
RBS backed cards do offer repeats. I've got a set of Natwest cheques offering 0% until my September statement sitting next to me just now. And recently got a new 0% offer on my Ulster card after calling them
Whether to cancel or not is a bit of a gut call. If you've got a large credit limit with one of them, I'd maybe think twice about cancelling it on the basis you won't get that limit again. But that's only relevant if you want a large limit

Not used the virgin card since November so it would be about 12 months if i tried to apply when the offers run out. I will hopefully only need about 2.5k limit but then again i've already gotten rid of 9.7k credit after getting the egg card and just getting rod of the RBS will be another 4.3k
If i kept the Virgin card i'd be holding 13.3k credit available and only using 2.5k so i'm undecided still as i don't want ot get caught out but is that still to much credit for my debts? I think loan will be about 4k by then...
Haven't a clue what i'll do
I might hold on to it rather than get caught without anywhere to transfer it to.
Got a reply from equifax just before i cancelled my trial. They have put a note on my file as their software will not allow them to remove the entry right now. Sounds great that, doesn't it.After falling off the gambling wagon (twice): £33,600 (24,000+ 9,600) - Original CC Debt: £7,885.91
