Price match

I have 2 quotes for a new kitchen £5100 from wickes, £4200 from homebase which includes extra 10% off this fri/saturday, almost identical kitchens no appliances do wickes price match as I prefer the wickes kitchen.

    LOL, thats an awesome link.

In answer to your question I had a Wickes quote and I then got a second quote from a trade supplier and a Howdens quote. The Howdens quote was for rigid assembled units and the other trade quote was for an identical spec unit eg rigid back panels and 18mm carcass. I showed the quote to Wickes who tried everything they could to say that the cabinets were different even down to grain patterns on the back panel (not really an issue on a white gloss kitchen!!) Also the Howdens quote was only about £200 for the better quality units but they did not have an exact match and as such Wickes wouldnt consider dropping their price at all.

That all being said Wickes do make nice kitchens and have a good range of units so you may have to suck it up. Also the Wickes units are significantly better quality than Homebase so I imagine the price match will be out of the question. Sorry
Some people don't exaggerate........... They just remember big!
