Scam letter alert!!!

I just got this one as well! Wondered how they have my details, I've also had 3 attempted adds on MSN messenger this week from dodgy email addresses :mad:

The other one I'm sick of Scottish Power ringing my husband as he has supposedly entered a comp with them - !! nonsense - he keeps telling them to get lost but they keep ringing

If you contact us we will be able to remove his telephone number from the dialler system calling him.

Customer details are passed to the call centres if the customer enters a prize draw and one of the conditions of entering the draw is to get a quotation from ScottishPower.

I apologise if this has not been the case.

My husband never enters competitions, I never ever give the home number out so how they ring the home number asking for him is completely beyond us.

He tells them he doesn't deal with the bills and they say "ok we'll put you through to the next round"

We've found online an 0845 number automated system that should remove our number & hope that's the end of it.

Seems a lot of people have had the same thing - as reported on whocallsme.com

I received one too!! I was a little intrigued until I seen the 'judging fee'. If you read the T&C's it says something like you have so many chances of winning if you answer some puzzles or something stupid.

Ah well, one day am sure we'll all get a genuine one
