Worth mentioning that Virgin will be increasing their BT and money transfer fees to 5% from 1st March.
So while there may be more cards available, MBNA are signalling to the others that higher fees are the way to go - not good news as a stoozer.
How has the Santander and Lloyds Banking Group expansions affected the number of card issuers? Concern would be that while number of 0% balance transfer cards being offered (including the 5 from Barclaycard and 10 from MBNA) may be increasing, the number of issuers where you can transfer the balance at the end of the 0% promotion is reducing."A child of five could understand this.
