in Credit cards
Hello,
I've got a search on my credit file for the above company, under 'credit card', but I have not applied for a credit card recently.
I can't seem to find out much about who this company is.
I have recently applied for interest-free credit with Ernest Jones, but was told this was handled through Santander, not GE Capital. Any ideas?

Sounds like http://www.gemoney.co.uk/en/
If the dates of the search matches the date of your interest-free credit application then that's probably what it is - Ernest Jones should be able to confirm - more likely to be GE than Santander I'd have thought."A child of five could understand this. Fetch me a child of five." - Groucho Marx0 -

It is Santander which makes me think they are a little more strict! I tried to open a Debenhams card on Sat and thought I have a Next Account, a Very Account they declined me a card. It is listed as a credit card search rather than a store card which is very misleading!2009 Wins so far: 6 month supply of special K, Super Glue, Pushing Dasies Season 2 DVD, Sonisphere Tickets, Gold iPod, Fourth Plinth Winner 8th Oct 6-7pm, £100 Tesco Vouchers, Star-Ship Troopers on Blu-Ray (no player yet!), another iPod TouchFirst win Friday 13th - who said it was unlucky?0
