Barclays dragging heals

Hi, I'm in the progress of claiming my PPI from a Barclayloan I paid off around 4 years ago. I got no response at all from my first letter, so sent the second letter, and they sent a response saying they were investigating my complaint and would update me before 5th February and could I fill in a questionaire. I filled this in and they are now saying they need more time to do a proper investigation, and will give me an update by March 10th. What should I do? Should I wait this out, or send them the 3rd stage letter? Any help is greatly appreciated.

we have had the same with barclays and when i spoke to them on the phone they said the main problem was going through all the claims to get rid of the thousands who are trying to claim through cheating,
once they get to your claim you will find they are very profesional in there workings we got back over£9000 by letting them get on with it within reason

Hi Andy

Maybe try to bear this one out, in hope that they are going to resolve this one for you.

But of course like any complaint, they have 8 weeks in full to give you a decision, and if you do not get one, you can move on to the FOS, but as they have been in touch to let you know with a date, it "maybe worth holding hold that little longer".
