Monday 8th Feb - What small DFW things have you done today!?

When we start out on the DFW trail we do loads of "big stuff" that makes quite a difference to our situation. These include having our lightbulb moment, cutting up the credit cards and cancelling Sky and the gym.
But once we have done the bigger stuff, we often feel that we are not making the same amount of progress, when in fact the small steps are helping us form good financial habits and helping us get closer everyday to staying in control and becoming debt free, or staying debt free
Examples could be charging your phone up at work instead of at home to save your electricity, hanging washing out instead of using the tumble dryer or leaving your purse/wallet at home to avoid the risk of spending.
So be proud of those small steps, they really are important:D
Good morning!:j
Hope you all had a lovely weekend;) Had a lovely day at home yesterday....looking forward to the lie-ins from Friday onwards...half term:beer:
I'm off for blood tests this morning and I need to start some reading for my Uni essay....I'm just not sure where to start...not very good at this planning malarkey:o
Ok, here's the list:

I do start with mind maps yes - I'm very visual so have it all in pretty colours and nice to look at....hahaha not sure if it helps but makes it more fun for me:rotfl:
I'm just finding it hard to get started, I'm full of motivation at about 11pm, when I'm in bed I do some reading, but during the day I find all sorts of excuses not to work....'later, later' I tell myself grrrrrr:mad:I really need to sort out a new signature!0 -

Morning all (waves weakly)
I haven't posted for ages due to being ridiculously busy at work, but am off today with a cold that appeared over the weekend and left me with no sleep. So, I decided that me and my germs would not be much of an asset to the meeting I was supposed to be at all day
Not sure how much moneysaving I will be doing as I don't feel great, but just wanted to pop in and tell Milly that she IS good at planning - she often starts the thread and tells us all her plans for the day, which acts as a kick up the backside for the rest of us (well needed in my case!)
Anyway, I shall have a nsd, as I don't feel up to going out, and will set myself the task of going through the wardrobes to sort out unwanted clothes for the salvation army collection this week - they left a bag and a note to say that they would be round on Thursday. I could probably sell the clothes, or some of them, but I am fortunate that I can afford not to, and they do such good work.
Have a nice day everyone, luckily you can't catch my bugs via email (cue for IT guys' type joke about viruses ) :wave:0 -
Good morning all and thanks to Milly for starting thread
Today I will:
- check banking, do free scratchies and games

- begin mega task of listing 'train stuff' on e bay - don't know anything about them so hope nobody asks me any techie questions
- take dogs for lovely walk to blow cobwebs away
- look out more dvd's to complete Music Magpie order
- Check my supermarket for bestprice dog food which unfortunately is going to spoil my NSD
- Do some more housework - hiiiiissssss
- Hokey cokey and dry on airer inside
