Martin should do an expose on the rip off that Gillette charges.

I am sure there was an article once that worked out that the actual blades cost under 10p to make and package!!

But it is all the expensive advertising that is being paid for. Somebody has got to keep Tiger Woods bank account going with all these women he sees, I find it expensive enough with 1 :D.

It is like lots of health and beauty products, they are selling the lifestyle and their advertising costs are HUGE.

Anyone actually noticed the manual blades work on the fusion power razor. They never used to on the mach3, but do on the fusions.

From what i can tell their is no difference between the power and non-power blades except for the steep price jump.
Remember just buy the manual blades as it says on the box, fits all fusion razors.

So far the cheapest i have seen is the 12 value pack + gift for £20

Yeah we noticed that just recently as well. I bought my dad the manual razors by mistake for his power razor and they work fine. Boots were selling a big pack of razors and a cream for £20 as well. Not sure if offer still on though!

Although no trees were harmed during the creation of this post, a large number of electrons were greatly inconvenienced.

There are two ways of constructing a software design: One way is to make it so simple that there are obviously no deficiencies, and the other way is to make it so complicated that there are no obvious deficiencies

The new bigger ASDA at Longwell Green in Bristol has the 11 for £20 packs.

But, I succumbed to the Amazon 12 for £20 deal (with razor) - bargain.

Thanks OP for putting this thread up :)
