Bathroom waste pipe question
Comments
-
Tell him to come back and do it then!............He said it would be best to remove the wall as there would be nothing behind it and it would be a simple job to move the loo back to the breeze block wall.
It might be possible depending on where the actual soil pipe is vis-a-vis the wall but its difficult to tell without physically seeing it. A lot will depend on the spigot for the new loo and where that sits vis-a-vis the soil pipe. If you can get the bath / basin waste going below the floor before it joins the stack you may be OK and get rid of the dogleg too.
Unfortunately I see that all the time - pure downright laziness! There was a load of rubble down the hole on top of the pipes, so we didn't actually see the pipes in the picture until all the wall was gone and the rubble removed.
Well its done now. Chin up!I wish I hadn't listened to the radiator man now
