Me and the missus are thinking of selling our place, a 2-bed tenement flat in Pollokshields on the south side of Glasgow.
Does anyone have any recommendations for estate agents and solicitors in the area?
Or any horror stories - any firms in particular to avoid?
Thanks in advance for any advice offered...

You might do better putting this on the Scotland board?0
-
look to see which boards are the most used around the neighbourhood. after years of being a rebel i've finally come to the conclusion that if they are used by lots of people, there must be something the people are getting out of it.
by my way (newton mearns) people seem to use slater, hogg and harrison.
I (in my rebellious moment) used alan harris who were cheaper but did not push my property for me at all. each branch seems to be different though.
also there are all sorts of other options (remax, or law firms like alan laferty) that i never tried so couldn't say.0 -
I would use a solicitor, not remax etc, as a lot of people still use gspc.co.uk as first port of call when looking for property.Debt free 4th April 2007.
New house. Bigger mortgage. MFWB after I have my buffer cash in place.0
